  • His everyday name is Maks.

Maks is a Russian Wulfhound, or a Borzoi dog, and he came into our lives in 2008. Owning a borzoi is a lifelong dream of mine, but I had heard about Borzoi dogs they have really bad temper, and did not go well together with children or cats. But Maks has proven they are not like that at all. He is the most wonderful caracter ever, and we love him dearly.

Maks is from Le Sphinx kennel in Tønsberg, and has some really beautiful borzoi in his pedigrèe. He has not been shown so far, but maybe someday I'll get over my fear of dogshows and show my beautiful boy? Only time will tell.

Maks is a real familydog. I take him for walks (almost) every day, and lately he is my companion trying to get on the top of at least 7 mountain tops, in the Norwegian "10 på topp". (10 på topp is an effort made by the Norwegian tourist assosiation to make people take more advantage and go for walks in the beautiful nature in Norway). My children teaches him tricks and plays with him. Most of my cats accept him and even plays with him, only Bissan I guess will never get friendly. Maks just loves everybody he meets, and has made lots of friends in the neighgbourhood already. He also has some borzoi friends we meet regularly, and it's always nice to meet dogs that completely understands his "language".

Maks is the man of my life. He has brown eyes, and a hairy chest. Can a girl ask for more?
